Amped runs September 14th through April 19th (+ a few weeks later for 8th graders). We have classic and relational in-person Amped that gathers 6-8th graders on Wednesday nights from 6:15-8:00pm (at Verona campus unless otherwise indicated), as well as a home-learning option for folks who cannot commit wtih regularity to our Amped schedule. The Home Learning option requires an adult to work on the lessons with the youth using video and activities provided.
Middle School Music Information
Middle School Music is open to all youth in grades 6-8 who are interested in learning about and playing music for the worship setting. Typically the music group meets before Wednesday night Amped nights from 5-5:50 and then has a little time for dinner before Amped begins.
Our first Amped gathering is Kick Off Night, meaning that we hope the Ampedsters and an adult (at minimum) will attend to learn more about the program for the year - including changes from past years - and provide a time to get to know other families who your middle schooler will be journeying with!
Kick Off will be Wednesday, September 14th from 6:15-7:45pm at our Verona Campus. If you will need to opt for the Home Learning version of Amped, we hope you will still come to the Kick Off night, or we will set up another time to meet.
*Involvement in this program does not depend on financial ability and there are funds available to cover these expenses if needed, but charging for the program helps pay for material costs and staffing.
If you have multiple youth registering, you will need to fill out forms for each, but you can pay on just one; in that case, select paying in full for the number of youth on one registration and then "paid on initial form" on subsequent forms.
